Equipment

  • 1 Blender

Ingredients
  

  • cup unsweetened milk (your favourite milk)
  • 1 cup greek yogurt (or vegan/dairy-free yogurt)
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2.5-3 cups bananas, ripe
  • 0.5 cups ice (optional)

Instructions
 

Soft ingredients +powders

  • Pour (a little) milk into the blender.
  • Now it time to toss the yogurt to the milk.
  • After adding milk, and yoghurt adds the vanilla bean paste.
  • Add the cinnamon powder.

Harder ingredients

  • Now add your frozen bananas to the blender.
  • Optional: If you like, you can add some ice cubes to the blender, to keep the smoothies cold for longer.

BLEND

  • Blend all on low setting smooth. Use your tamper (or wooden spoon) to make sure it's well mixed. And use your pulse setting to break down bigger chunks in intervals.
  • Add toppings if you like. Tadaaaaa. Now enjoy!

How to Store A Banana Smoothie with Yogurt


Firstly you should know, that smoothies should be stored always in an airtight container. That is only if you don’t eat them directly once they are made, or if you have leftovers.

I store my leftovers in a Thermo cup and eat them the next morning!

That’s soo good because my Thermo cup still keeps them in a great consistency!

Trust me!

If you keep them in the fridge they last around 24 hours.

Smoothies with dairy can’t be stored for as long as smoothies without dairy if you freeze them.

Dairy containing smoothies last around 1-2 months in the freezer. While dairy smoothies can be stored for at least 3 months.

    This smoothie is perfect, because I always have all ingredients at home.
    I can`t eat a lot of banana because of an intolerance – but I also take some blueberries inside my version..
    It doesn`t looks good as your smoothie, but maybe a little bit more “badass”, haha 😀
