While this smoothie is healthy and contains vitamins and nutrients, there are still ways to make it healthier:

Smoothie Ingredients

Must Ingredients

  • UNSWEETENED PLANT-BASED MILK: Just to keep the blender going.
Here you can use any milk, even dairy milk. But I suggest using unsweetened or fat-reduced milk for optimal health benefits.
  • Nutty milk is great as well, like unsweetened cashew milk or hazelnut milk. YUMMY!
  • GREEK YOGURT: A superfood, that adds tangy flavour and tons of protein!
  • VANILLA BEAN PASTE: You can also use vanilla extract, to add the flavour!
  • CINNAMON: Because Of the flavour, for weight loss and antibacterial, anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • BANANAS: For the seconds based, besides the yogurt. Because they add on thickness and creaminess and make this smoothie super thick.

Optional Ingredients

ICE: Additionally, you could add some ice. Use mini-ice cubes, because they are CUTE! But of course, the most important reason is that nearly every blender will have no problem crushing them 🙂

How to Store A Banana Smoothie with Yogurt

Firstly you should know, that smoothies should be stored always in an airtight container. That is only if you don’t eat them directly once they are made, or if you have leftovers.

I store my leftovers in a Thermo cup and eat them the next morning!

That’s soo good because my Thermo cup still keeps them in a great consistency!

Trust me!

If you keep them in the fridge they last around 24 hours.

Smoothies with dairy can’t be stored for as long as smoothies without dairy if you freeze them.

Dairy containing smoothies last around 1-2 months in the freezer. While dairy smoothies can be stored for at least 3 months.
